Mud clumped in their hair, shoes, and clothes – the usual scenario when children come back home after their playtime. And the primary thing kids do after they get house is plopped on the couch in the same clothes they been wearing all day. If your kid is on a bus, daycare, school, or playground they’ll be able to obtain all forms of bacteria, viruses, and fungi from others and bring them home. Harmful microbes survive in clothing. It’s probably not that bigger deal to remain within the same clothes when out, but if your kid is coming back home, it is advisory to change.
How the germs transfer from clothes into your house?
It’s unlikely that kids’ wear will spread serious germs into your home. But, your foremost concern should be the spread and cause of infection or flu. Clothes are a transmitter of germs but dirty hands are the major offender. Kids wipe their hands frequently on their clothes. Parents have to wash frequently the clothes. They should also teach the children to clean their hands before eating and after visiting the bathroom.
There are instances where germs/microbes from clothes will get into a pillow and can lead to head lice.
Your kids’ shoes usually don’t touch surfaces that you just sit or lay on. But you will need to take better care of flooring and start using disinfect daily. Kids crawl, sit and play which increases the possibilities of infection
How to stop spreading germs via clothes?
Normal washing of garments will reduce the chance of germs being transmitted. In certain situations clothes should be washed at beyond normal temperatures and with a bleach-based product to minimize the transmission risk the maximum amount as possible.
How to wash everyday items?
A traditional wash with a detergent is very effective at reducing the chance of transmitting any infection.
